Humility Now: Give to Receive: Buy a shirt, give a... →
Humility Now is a non-profit organization committed to working with the homeless, not just for them. We believe in counting their needs over our own, and building relationships as a means of getting them off the street. For every shirt we sell, we’ll give a shirt to our homeless… I fully support everyone that helps people to help themselves!!!!!

What do you need?
Well, it’s a funny thing. I could go on for hours about needing things, but truthfully all you need is food, water, a stable way to support yourself, spiritual nourishment, compassion, health and love to live. Some may say that you need certain goals (I agree to a degree) or certain other accomplishments to have a full life. Those are sort of like the ottoman and desk I’m mulling over...

“Keep the kitchen well stocked with food. When we have our cupboards filled with food, we feel more abundant.” via Feng Shui Tips. Oh it is so true! I just got some parchment paper and non-stick aluminum foil to make parmesan crisps and homemade roasted almonds this weekend… and a cupboard full of food is absolutely in order.  Each little addition- spices, jams, teas, honeys,...

craigslist hotbed of lunatics
While i enjoy the thrill of a great deal, my tolerance for freakshows and weirdos has gone down considerably, far down enough to wholly justify paying full price for furniture. Case in point, this odd man was selling a new sofa. its relatively new to the store. New its about $1500. He wants $500. His place is too small for the big huge sofa I need desperately. So, on my way home I happen to be...

Word of the day: Arcanum
Could not resist grabbing this word from Alexis for today, since my entire field of expertise and practice is an arcanum I seek to make known to everyone on the planet in some way, shape or form… arcanum \ar-KAY-nuhm, noun; plural arcana -nuh\: 1. A secret; a mystery. 2. Specialized or mysterious knowledge, language, or information that is not accessible to the average person (generally...

Q & A: What are feng shui "elements"?
Today a great Question was in my email- ” I recently started following your blog on Tumblr. I read one of your posts which happened to be a critic of someone’s bedroom and you wrote something about an elemental profile. Is this related to our astrological sign? How is an elemental profile related to Feng Shui or home decorating? I’m just curious because I’d like to be able...

WSJ: Why Won't Anyone Clean the Refrigerator? →
Bravo Wall Street Journal. Cleaning the fridge was my Feng Shui 2010 Week #1! via leilacohan: I’m not sure why I’m so very tickled by this article about refrigerator manufacturers desperation with the fact that Americans don’t know how to take care of their fridges, but it made me giggle a lot. Particularly this segment: Four years ago, in an effort to understand how people organize their...

last internet-gleaned feng shui bit of wisdom...
” Enhancing love feng shui increases love opportunities, but finding a perfect match depends on your karma.”(via paralumun) Love feng shui can open flows, but your causes and their effects will override anything you put in your environment.  Be your best self every day, embrace who you are, and then let love feng shui carve out its way….
