SAGE has reached mainstream mythical status as an “evil spirit killer”, the Ghostbuster of home cleansing, if you will.
Scientifically, the scent of sage is a sedative and has been shown to strengthen the constitution.
It is dangerous to burn, as you can torch your house (I almost did) when embers fly off of the wand. If you do burn sage, burn with caution, dispose of it in a bucket of water, and realize that the sage is about you being calm and clear. I don’t do snake oil exorcisms. But I do adore abalone shells!
