FENG SHUI Q & A! Another great one!

Q: A large ceiling fan hangs over my bed. I know that’s bad but why? And, what would be okay there? It’s also the room’s main light. Thanks!

A: A rounded light that is firmly attached to the ceiling is fine- no points, no sharp edges.  The reason why a ceiling fan is a GIANT NO? Did you ever see Willy Wonka and the Chololate Factory…when they drink from the firbidden bubble stuff and float up a tunnel toward rotating blades about to slice them up that resemble a ceiling fan? This is part of the resaon why.

Just so you know, you can have a handyman, delivery man, or your landlord if you rent ( which is what I did) swap out a ceiling fan overy your bed safely and pretty easily.  I highly advise this! xxxx Dana
